Hornblotton Village Hall future events:

Saturday 17th November - private function.

Saturday 1st December 2018 - GreenMatthews present A Christmas Carol: a telling of Charles Dickens' popular story, in song. In a blend of Victorian carols and midwinter folk songs they paint a vivid and colourful picture of the festive season in Dickens’ time, following with a ‘folk opera’ of his most iconic novella – the tale of how flinty-hearted miser Ebenezer Scrooge undergoes several ghostly visitations over the course of a cold and bitter Christmas Eve and awakes the following morning transformed into the epitome of the Christmas spirit – warm-hearted, generous and loving. This heartwarming tale is presented entirely in narrative song, using brand-new lyrics set to traditional English folk and carol melodies.

Tickets £12 (£8 for under 16s) from email: bowencolin@hotmail.com or tel: 01963 240282

Why not come along to one of our famous music gigs?

Doors open at 7pm, when we serve food for those would like to eat. There's plenty for veggies. We've no licence, so it's 'Bring your own' booze, and it's first come first served for the tables, which hold up to 60 of a maximum audience of 70. Those at the tables are also nearest the stage, and the performance usually starts at 7.30 or 7.45. I hope you get the picture and decide to come - people seem to like it as they come again and again!
