Hornblotton Village Hall future events:

as well as our regular classes* the hall will be in use at the following times:

Saturday November 30th 7.30pm: Michael Partington, classical guitar, with 'The Golden Ages of the Guitar'

The incomparable classical guitarist Michael Partington returns; Michael’s virtuosity and sensitivity are extraordinary, and we are looking forward to hosting him again. He will be playing a varied programme of music, from the early 19th century (by Diabelli, Coste and Mertz), the Segovia era (by Ponce) and modern times: (by Bryan Johanson and Stephen Goss, both of whom wrote these pieces especially for Michael)

Tickets £10. Only light snacks available before this performance. Bring Your Own booze.

Saturday 25th January 2020: private function.

Saturday March 7th 2020 7.30pm: The Brewery Band.

We saw this fabulous collective of fine musicians last year and we’ve at last managed to organise a concert by them at Hornblotton. On Fiddles and Recorders as well as Sackbut and Theorbo they play a wonderful mix of early music, traditional folk and contemporary improvisation. The music is as infectious as the musicianship is phenomenal.

Why not come along to one of our famous music gigs?

Doors open at 7pm, when we serve food for those would like to eat. There's plenty for veggies. We've no licence, so it's 'Bring your own' booze, and it's first come first served for the tables, which hold up to 60 of a maximum audience of 70. Those at the tables are also nearest the stage, and the performance usually starts at 7.30 or 7.45. I hope you get the picture and decide to come - people seem to like it as they come again and again!
